IELTS 写作测验评分标准分为四项：任务完成/回答情况、文章结构与连贯性、词汇使用、文法及正确性。
以下列出几个雅思考生易犯的文法及词汇错误，改掉这些小地方，就能减少失分机会，写出更流畅的文章！

使用「On the other hand 」来表示相反的论点，不能用来支持你的论点。

关键失分点：
描述变化时(尤其是在Task 1 的题目里)，应使用形容词+ 名词(例如：dramatic increase) 或是动词+ 副词(例如：it increased dramatically)。

关键失分点：
常有烤鸭使用「Besides」来连结各种想法，但这是错误用法。「Besides」较常在口语英文中使用，意思是「anyway」(无论如何) 或「regardless」(不管怎样)。在写作中，如果你想用这个字来加入论点或事实，那么你可以用「besides this/that」或「in addition」。

关键失分点：
此句子文法正确，但「knowledge」的用法不太自然。这个名词在英文里不太常使用。在英文中，我们时常使用的是形容词knowledgeable (例如：he is very knowledgeable)。或者，我们会使用动词「to learn」或「to understand」。

关键失分点：
「Extinct」是形容词而非动词。因此，你还得加上其他动词，例如：「are」、「will be」、「will become」、「have become」等

少了s差很多，没有Nowaday的用法喔！

关键失分点：
如果要表示某人的岁数，「years」应为复数(例如：he is 60 years old)。要用年龄来形容某人时，则不需复数形「s」(例如：a 60 year old man)。年龄也可当作名词使用。如果名词为复数，就应该在「old」的后面加上「s」(例如：60 year olds are healthier than they used to be)。

关键失分点：
碰到国名，大部分情况下前面不需使用定冠词「the」。例如：American、Japan、England、France，不会写成「the France」，但是，如果国家名为缩写形式，或为岛屿、国家或州群，那么我们就会使用「the」。例如：The UK、The USA、The Philippines 等。

「Obviously」是副词。在此句型(It is _______ that)，要使用的是形容词。

有些动词会与介系词并用(搭配)，但有些不用接介系词。我们可以说「talk about」，但不会说「describe about」，而是只用「describe」。
